TREK Diagnostic Systems Receives 2007 Leading EDGE Award

Cleveland, Ohio — March 9, 2007 –TREK Diagnostic Systems was recognized as a leader in growth and innovation in Northeast Ohio with a 2007 Leading EDGE Award. This award recognizes companies throughout the 17 counties in Northeast Ohio that are, “creating the most value for themselves, as well as the community.” The award is presented by the Entrepreneur’s EDGE, which is an organization that focuses on helping companies in Northeast Ohio increase their value while supporting their entrepreneurial ventures. They recognize growth, innovation and community involvement as integral components to a company’s success, and seek to enhance economic development throughout the region.

TREK is one of 102 middle-market, value-driven companies being recognized with a Leading EDGE Award this year from over 1,000 applicants throughout Northeast Ohio.  Criteria for the award included sales revenue up to $500 million, as well as distribution of their products outside of the region. The Entrepreneur’s EDGE plans to use the data they received from applicants as a method of benchmarking companies throughout the region, as well as identify and recognize best practices used by winning companies. Benefits of the award include access to this benchmarking data, as well as recognition at a variety of events through the region this year.

The first celebration of the Leading EDGE Awards is planned for May 16th, where TREK will be recognized along with the other recipients for exceptional value creation.
