TREK Supports National Medical Laboratory Week April 18-24, 2004
Cleveland, Ohio – March 4, 2004 – TREK Diagnostic Systems will support
National Medical Laboratory Week (NMLW) April 18-24, 2004 with a variety of activities.
In
honor of NMLW, TREK will post an online form on www.trekds.com. Visitors to the
website can fill in their contact information and the brief qualifying form. At the
end of NMLW, one entry will be randomly selected to win a special commendation
for their entire
laboratory!
As token of appreciation for laboratory workers’ dedication to laboratory
sciences and improving patient care, TREK will also send out a mass mailing with
stickers for laboratory technologists to
wear during NMLW. The stickers state “TREK Supports NMLW April 18-24, 2004.”
“TREK recognizes and appreciates the tremendous impact the laboratory profession has on improving
patient care. In these times of economic belt tightening the value that the medical technology profession
brings to betterment of overall patient care often goes unrecognized and unappreciated,” said
Les Stutzman, Global Director of Marketing for TREK Diagnostic Systems. “To all of you laboratory
professionals who daily go about doing the great work you were trained to do without due recognition,
we want to take this time and this week to tell you how much we do appreciate your dedication and
commitment to the medical technology profession. As one “old” medical technologist to
another, “Keep up the great effort!”
